TGE is offering 75 GWh working gas volume

Aachen, Epe. Trianel Gasspeicher Epe GmbH & Co. KG (TGE) is continuing the successful  marketing of storage capacities on an interruptible basis. Within the now started tender process three stored bundels are being offered  with a working gas volume of 25 GWh each for the period from 1 August 2016 to 

1 Februar 2017. The total injection capacity is 100 MW, with 200 MW withdrawal capacity. The minimum price per bundle is EUR 20,000. The deadline for bids is 30 June 2016, 12:00 CET.

Since 2008, TGE has operated a natural gas storage facility consisting of four salt caverns in Gronau/Epe (Westphalia), with a working gas volume of 199 million cubic metres. This is one of the fastest storage facilities in Germany, which was built by Trianel in cooperation with the other shareholders – currently 16 municipal utilities and regional energy supply companies.
